Does adhesive-free film really leave no residue?
Yes, because there is no adhesive layer to leave behind. What can occur on very smooth surfaces is a temporary optical mark from intimate contact, which clears once the surface is wiped.
Why does my self-cling film keep lifting at the edges?
Usually surface texture or contamination. Self-cling needs full contact across the whole area; dust, oil residue or a grained finish all prevent it. If the substrate genuinely is textured, self-cling is the wrong specification.
Can adhesive-free film be used outdoors?
No. It is an indoor and transport product. Outdoor exposure needs a UV-stabilised adhesive film specified for the service duration.
