Metal Fabrication
Laser cutting, forming and finished-surface handling.
Metal fabrication protection film keeps a finished surface intact from the cutting bed to the installed part. Novis supplies black-and-white laser film that stays on stainless steel through cutting and forming, and adhesive-free clear film for polished and optically sensitive surfaces.

The damage that reaches a customer almost always happened in-house — on the cutting bed, at the press brake, in the rack, or in the container. Protection film is cheap insurance against rework on a part that is otherwise finished.
For stainless steel, the film has a second job: an opaque matt surface controls beam reflection off a polished finish so the laser tracks reliably. That is why laser film is black and white rather than clear.
The specification that decides whether a film succeeds is not thickness but removal behaviour after realistic service — a film that peels cleanly on day one and leaves residue after six weeks has failed at the only moment that counts.
