Automotive laminated glass uses PVB interlayer to keep a fractured windscreen intact and in its aperture after impact. Novis supplies clear PVB in the 0.76 mm standard used for windscreen lamination, with the controlled adhesion and optical clarity that automotive glazing requires.

A windscreen is a structural component. It contributes to roof crush resistance, it positions the passenger airbag, and it has to stay in its aperture after impact rather than leave the vehicle.
That places tighter demands on the interlayer than architectural work: optical clarity has to hold across a curved, raked surface, and adhesion has to be controlled precisely enough to absorb impact energy without embrittling the laminate.
Novis Aura is supplied at the 0.76 mm standard used across windscreen production, with batch test data covering the optical and adhesion properties that govern the lamination line.
