ACP protection film shields coated aluminium composite panels through routing, folding, transport and facade installation, including months of outdoor exposure on site. Novis Luma is UV-stabilised and specified around clean removal after weathering rather than initial peel strength.

A composite panel spends its most vulnerable period outdoors. It is installed on a facade and then waits, in direct sunlight, until the building is closed and the film comes off.
Indoor fabrication film does not survive that. UV embrittles ordinary polyethylene until it tears into strips rather than peeling, and drives adhesive into the coating — leaving residue that has to be solvent-cleaned off a finished facade at height.
The correct specification is a UV-stabilised film chosen on its peel behaviour after ageing, combined with a site discipline of removing film as soon as the facade is complete.
